چکیده

Anonymity of ballots in electronic voting schemes usually relies on the existence of some kind of anonymous channel between voters and ballot collecting authorities. Currently, there exist solutions based on the mix concept, which allow for anonymous e-mail communications. However, integration of such solutions into the implementation of a voting scheme has some problems. In this paper we propose a large scale voting scheme based on the concurrent operation of multiple electronic electoral colleges, with no need for independent anonymous channels. Anonymity of ballots is assured by shu ing of ballot boxes by a set of mobile agents acting on behalf of a central voting authority. Our voting scheme is totally self-contained and suitable to be implemented over large internets.

Double voter perceptible blind signature based electronic voting protocol

Mu et al. have proposed an electronic voting protocol and claimed that it protects anonymity of voters, detects double voting and authenticates eligible voters. It has been shown that it does not protect voter's privacy and prevent double voting. After that, several schemes have been presented to fulfill these properties. However, many of them suffer from the same weaknesses. In this p...

Towards a Practical, Secure, and Very Large Scale Online Election

We propose in this paper a practical and secure electronic voting protocol for large-scale online elections. Our protocol satisfies a large set of important criteria that has never been put together in a single protocol before. Among all electronic voting schemes in the literature, Sensus, a security-conscious electronic voting protocol proposed by Cranor and Cytron [CC97], satisfies the most o...

Anonymity revisited: the degree of the knowledge transfer

Anonymity has been regarded mainly as anonymity of the person who did something. We believe that the anonymity of the subject may not be a primary concern and the more important part would be the fact that the subject did some deed. We focus on the relationship of the subject and the deed. Another argument we raise here is the need of quantitative measures for the anonymity. Anonymity has been ...

An Anonymous, Verifiable Internet Service POLL system

While there is a great number of electronic voting protocols proposed in the literature, only a handful of them are actually deployed. Still, these few available schemes require voters to completely trust the poll provider with the anonymity of their votes and/or the integrity of the results. More robust schemes with better privacy and integrity guarantees do exist, however, they are complex to...

Anonymity vs. traceability : revocable anonymity in remote electronic voting protocols

Remote electronic voting has long been considered a panacea for many of the problems with existing, paper-based election mechanisms: assurance that one’s vote has been counted as cast; ability to vote without fear of coercion; fast and reliable tallying; improvement in voter turnout. Despite these promised improvements, take-up of remote electronic voting schemes has been very poor, particularl...
